Let's Dance (Levi XReader- One Shot!)

There’s nothing more that I’d like to do,
Than take the floor and dance with you.
Keep dancing, let’s keep dancing.
You take Levi’s hand.
“What’s the matter? Let’s go dance!” You urge him.
“I don’t dance.” He released his grip from your hand.
“Then why on earth did you come?”
He glanced away, looking anywhere but at you.
“Levi, what is it? How come you won’t dance?”
“Because I can’t. Happy? Can I sit now?”
“Absolutely not. I did not agree to go out with you tonight to just sit around. We’re at a club, for crying out loud!” You take his hand once more and drag him to the dance floor.
“Actually, I accepted. You asked me, remember?”
“Not the point.”
“Tch.”
“Okay, so here’s what you do. Shake your body with the rhythm of the music.” You order Levi and demonstrate for him.
He tries, swinging his hips in unnecessary circles.
“No, no, no. Like this.” You snap and shake your body with the rhythm.
Levi snaps with the beat, but his rhythm is off. He wiggles his arms around like a gas station blow up.
“What the hell are you doing?” You laugh so hard you nearly collapse.
“I’m dancing. Isn’t this what you wanted?” He glares at you.
“Okay, try this.” You do “hands on your knees.”
He mimics you but moves his arms too far out.
“Alright, this one.” You wiggle your bottom. He wiggles his bottom with excellent grace, like he was meant to do that.
“You’re a natural at that one.”
Suddenly, he takes your hand and pulls you in toward him. He gazes into your eyes.
“Oh, I can dance alright. I just wanted to surprise you.” He lurches you forward and twirls you back to him. He backs away and shimmies from side to side.
He takes your hand once again and princess twirls you. He lets go and he gets lost with the beat. Levi is all over the dance floor, twirling and getting down with the beat. He shakes his body one last time and twirls back to you.
“Happy?” He breathes.
“Very.” You smile at him. “Although, that’s a side of you I never knew.”
“I don’t express it much,” Levi says, grabbing your hand and leading you back to the dance floor.
“Let’s start again. Now I’ll teach you.” He grips your hand and teaches you how to dance.
